70 PLAYERS GET CALLED UP AS THE SATELLITES BEGIN PREPARATIONS

Seventy (70) players are expected to report to camp on Friday, August 28th as the first phase of the National U-20 male team’s pre-selection begins. The players and those associated with the team are to report at noon time. 

The preparations are to find best of the lot  for WAFU ‘B’ U-20 qualification tournament to be held in Togo later in the year.


Another batch of 70 players would be invited to camp after a week as coach Karim Zito and his assistant Evans Augustine Adotey continue the pre-selection exercise.

The division is to into two groups is a measure of ensuring that all players identified for the pre-selection process undergo the mandatory COVID-19 testing which would be conducted twice at the GFA Technical centre on arrival including all supporting staff.
